Hypnotherapy and weight loss – How It works

Although you may not agree with me, but overweight people are treated differently. Men negatively discriminate against fat women on websites and larger men are usually seen as a joke among hot chicks.

In addition, you can constantly hear messages from the media saying that ‘losing weight will improve your self-image’, as well as all the health benefits you will gain by becoming slimmer. So as you can see, it is a lie to say that other people never judge you by your size.

But what can you do with your weight problem? You’ve certainly tried so many diets but have most likely failed all. One thing that you haven’t tried yet ( and may be the solution you’ve been searching for so long for your weight problem) is hypnotherapy.

But hypnotherapy for weight loss if far away from being a pill that works instantly (even most pills don’t). And it is not just a case of telling someone to do a certain way and that’s it. In fact, obesity is a condition that may have many different contributing factors, and treating each one may take some time.

So, how hypnotherapy work for weight loss?

Hypnotherapy for weight loss works because it performs on the level of patterns, feelings and unconscious motivations. When you feel you want to eat healthier rather than just assume that you should, weight loss is much more effective.

When used well, hypnotherapy will help you naturally feel like making the right choices. But that doesn’t mean just because you had hypnotherapy for weight loss you will never have to use your willpower; it does mean you will be better able to use it.

During the hypnotherapy, the hypnotherapist may use a number of approaches, including:

  • Use hypnosis to boost your motivation to eat well.
  • Use hypnosis to stimulate an increase in fat-burning metabolism.
  • Suggest you envisage seeing yourself in a fat suit and what it will feel like being able to discard one layer at a time and to occupy your ‘real body’.
  • Suggest you not to mainly focus on weight, but rather on health and fitness.
  • Help you distinguish between ‘bad foods’ (sugars, processed carbs, chemically altered stuff) and ‘good food’.
  • Use disassociation by talking about your body having its own ‘needs’ and your unconscious mind wording with the body to eat healthily. Using disassociation will allow you to see yourself in the future eating well, exercising properly and looking slimmer.

Over the sessions, you will start to feel and look better, to exercise wisely, and to eat right. You will lose fat and increase muscle tone, your blood pressure reading will improve and you will become much more confident about yourself.
